NON-TROPHY HUNT & PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI 2020 – (Caprivi)

Van Heerden Safaris

Folks...I have the following hunt open for this fall. Clearly I'm aware of the current situation worldwide, thus we are booking this hunt on the contingency of all travel bans lifted prior to the hunt commencement. We will hold the deposit in our account until all is clear to go...should that not happen, the hunter will be granted a 100% refund.

Below is an example of the normal itinerary for this hunt...you can drop the 2 day photo safari at the end if this does not interest you.

Early October 2020 would be best for this hunt...this is an excellent times for the elephants!

The hunter is not permitted to export any part of the trophy, but this is a fabulous hunt in truly wild Africa!

Itinerary:
Day 1 (Friday): Morning transfer to Eros Airport in Windhoek. Flight to Mpacha Airport near Katima Mulilo (1 ½ hours). Transfer (1 ¼ hours) to hunting camp by vehicle in the Caprivi. Lunch in camp, sighting in the rifle.

Day 2 – 11 (Saturday – Tuesday): Hunt in Caprivi – 10 Hunting days for non-trophy elephant, buffalo, and limited plains game.

Day 12 (Wednesday): We will drive to Katima Mulilo very early in the morning and arrive in Victoria Falls at around lunchtime (depending on border crossings).
We will then go for lunch at the beautiful Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and then book into our accommodation. We will spend the whole afternoon at the Vic Falls.
We will go for dinner at the Boma Restaurant in the evening. This is a fantastic evening of excellent food and good entertainment.

Day 13 (Thursday): After an early breakfast we will have the morning at leisure to enjoy any other activity at your own cost or explore the local craft market or visit the famous Victoria Falls Hotel.
Additional activities include, helicopter ride, bungi jump, elephant back ride, walk with lions, etc. Before lunch we will depart for Kasane, Botswana. We will have lunch in Kasane and book into our lodge. You will either do a boat cruise or a game drive in the Chobe National Park.

Day 14 (Friday): After an early breakfast we will depart for the Namibian border post and drive to Katima Mulilo and then to the airport where you will catch your noon flight to Windhoek Eros. Arrival in the afternoon.
