The hunt Takes place in Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge / Aniakchak Preserve. This is a fair chase spot and stalk hunt in an extremely remote area. Most of the fall hunt consists of glassing for bears over salmon streams, thus not as physically demanding as a spring hunt.

Hunt is conducted from comfortable tented spike camp. This area has some very large brown bears and is premium habitat for big bruins. Bear size ranges 9 - 10 feet on average.

Fall hunts are also the best time for bow hunters!!
