I have a buffalo and hippo hunt in Zimbabwe. The hunt is on the Hippo Valley Estate.

8 days x $900/day =$7,200 + $4,000 trophy fees for the buff and $4,000 for the hippo trophy fees.

Its a private area with a small quota of game. They have yet to fail on a buff hunt and lots of hippo so I would say close to 100% shot opportunity - its all free range hunting.

All government taxes and transfer from Bulawayo to camp and return are included in the price.

Accommodations are in a comfortable lodge. There is no plains game in this area, if that is something you are interested in, am sure it can be arranged on top in a different area.

I hunted there 10 years ago for buffalo. Can attest to the amount of hippo present. Saw several everyday and had one come at the car on the way back to camp.

Hello Arjun, who is the outfitter and PH for this hunt? The reason I ask is that I hunted nearby years ago with Buffalo Range Safaris, the Style brothers, and we talked about a hunt there as it had very good buffalo and had not been hunted in awhile.

Arjun, got your PM. Thanks. Good luck with this offer. Perhaps plains game could be added and hunted in the nearby Chiredzi River Conservancy/Ruware area with Rob Style of Buffalo Range Safaris.

I just heard from the operator that if you upgrade the hunt to 10 days you can also take a croc. The t/fee on the croc is also 4,000. Expectation is a croc in the 12 to 13" range with bigger possible also.

He says there are plenty of buffalo about as well and a very good chance at a hard bossed 40"+ bull.

Someone better buy this hunt before I get tempted to go myself!

I'm in Africa now for a month and this hunt looks wonderful. I do quesiton the croc of only 12-13 inches. LOL.
Good luck on the sale. I'm surprised it was not sold the first day.

The croc is a special order for 600 Nitro Express hunters!

He means a croc that is 12-13 inches, between the eyes.
