REAL OPPORTUNITY FOR A B&C COUES DEER

Matt Woodward/Borderland Adventures has again secured the Coues deer tags on several excellent deer ranches just south of the border at Sasabe, AZ. These outstanding Coues deer pictured gross score from 108 B&C-120 B&C and all came from these ranches in the last couple of years. Bucks 1,3,4 and 5 were all taken by my clients in Jan '14 on the same week. I hunted these ranches in '13 myself and killed a 109 B&C after I missed 120 B&C buck earlier the same day. The Coues hunting here is really outstanding and Matt is limiting his take off each ranch to maintain the quality.

I have clients on these ranches right now and will have more later in the month. '15 is completely filled but prime dates are available 8-15 Jan or 15-22 Jan '16. Max hunters per week will be 4.

The accommodations are in a comfortable ranch house with private rooms and baths. The food is very good and far from all beans and tortillas.

One of the best parts of this hunt other than the excellent hunting itself is that the ranch house is only 2 hours from the Tucson airport and 30 minutes from the crossing at Sasabe. No flight to Hermosillo with a planeload of other hunters. The border crossing is a breeze as there are so few people using it.

The hunt is all spot and stalk with some shots coming at 300 yards plus so knowing where your rifle shoots is very important. There will be no mix up on shot ranges or what animals to shoot because of a language barrier as all the guides are Americans.

The country is rough so some sort of physical condition is necessary but more time will be spent glassing than climbing.

Pricing:

1x1 6 full hunting days $6,000 to allow one Coues buck

A management mule deer will be available for a $2,000 trophy fee. These will be big mature 2x2 or 2x3 bucks.

Observer $1,000

Javelina $250

PRICE IS ALL INCLUSIVE FROM PICK UP AT TUCSON AIRPORT TO DROP OFF AT HUNT'S END

Tom,

I have clients there now and they are seeing some great Coues bucks and took a 193 6/8 B&C mule deer on Saturday.
