$28,000 - Tanzania Selous elephant 12 day hunt special.

I am now the agent for Macumba safaris, the PH is Mauro Daolio and this particular elephant hunt is available in November 2010. I have personally hunted with Daolio over the last 15 years and he runs a top notch operation.
He takes a lot of bulls in the 1.7m - 2m (6'6") range each year out of this consession and can also do elephant in Tsholotsho Zimbabwe where each year he has taken at least two bulls in the 80/90lb class.

Includes trophy fee for elephant up to 60lb.
$8,800 will be refunded if you do not shoot your elephant.
Does not include charter flights, accom/expenses before and after the hunt.

1 buffalo can be taken for $2500 on the same hunt, as well as left over plains game.

Lion or leopard can also be taken for an extra $5000 plus trophy fee. Subject to quota.

Sir,

Thank you for posting this hunt offer, but you have failed to fully disclose all the hunt details. Please see this link from the site administrator Saeed: http://forums.accuratereloadin...2100588/m/1451093911

What's the concession? What's the outfit? Who's the PH? What dates are available? Thank you.

Brett

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Perhaps it has fallow deer?

Just kidding. Big Grin

I would like to know the concession so that I could research what seems to be a great offer!

Here is a reference to the PH's website:
Macumba Safaris

It lists three areas. Is the concession one of these?

This hunt is in M2, and Mauro is now considering also taking another adjacent block as well.

This hunt is available from the 10th of November onwards.

Thanks for your interest.
