I still have a Buffalo & Roan packages available in Benin for the upcoming season which I offer at a very affordable price to any AR-member interested.

The hunt has to takes place in either March or April 2017 in north Benin on the western boarder of Pendjari Nationalpark



Please be aware that we will need 4 weeks to get your rifle import arrangements.


You need to fly into Cotonou where you will be picked up. You will drive to camp the next day. This will take 8-9hours by road.

Daily rate (10days)

6000Euros (1:1)


On a 10day hunt you are allowed to take 1 x Buffalo , 1 male of all the other species!!

Second Buff 1800€ (if available)

Roan 1500€

Hartbeest 600€

Waterbuck 850€

Reedbuck 550€

Bushbuck 550€

Warthog 400€

Grey duiker 300€

Daily rate includes:

Meet at airport and transfer to hotel

50% of daily rate is required to book the hunt.

Now that is a good buffalo.

There is good hunting to be had in Benin but be the sort of chap who can take over the safari and hunt the buffalo how you want. I suspect some of the French clients shoot from the truck and we resorted to the traditional walk and stalk. The buffalo are hardy and very fast.

Not for first timers and grad a couple of bottles of your favourite on the way in.
