Outfitter: SSG Safaris - Nixon Dzingai

Agent: Global Hunting Resources - globalhunts@aol.com

Location: Malapati/Sengwe II

Species: Buffalo/Plains Game

Available Dates: Aug. 20 - Sept. 3, 2012

Hunt: 10 - days (2 Buffalo) $13,500.00 / Price Includes trophy fees for both buffalo bulls.

SSG Safaris has just had a hunt cancellation for buffalo, with prime dates available. This is a 10-day hunt offer, with a 14 day window in the schedule.

After just spending an additional 18 days at SSG Safaris last month, I am certain this hunt offers some of the best buffalo hunting in Zimbabwe. With a little patience, bulls of 40" plus are a reasonable expectation. Two clients shared the hunt with me last month, they took two bulls of 40" & 44". Although I was not there to hunt buffalo, on day 17 we saw a bull that was 46" - 47", and I quickly became a buffalo hunter. Unfortunately we were winded as we got close, and it wasn't to be. We saw plenty of buffalo, and the hunting will only get better as time goes by.

The following plains game species are still available on quota at the moment as well.
Kudu 5
Zebra 3
Waterbuck 3
Nyala 4
Impala trophy 10
Klipspringer 1
Duiker 2

YOu can see the following link for trophy fee prices: http://ssgsafaris.com/rates.htm

Additional Fees:
Dip & Pack - $500.00
RT Road Transfer - $500.00
RT Air Charter - $3,000.00 (on average)
4% levy on Daily Rate/Trophy fees

Please contact me with any additional questions.

Aaron, seems like a lot of game animals wind up "winding" you. Can you say Irish Spring? :-)

PS: Great price on a 2-Buff hunt with Nixon!

Aaron:

I wish we could have got it done this year but we will hopefully get it done for next year and finalize at SCI. Thanks for trying to help me out and I will be in touch. Still need to sit down with Jef sooner than later.

Any Hippo in Nixon's area? For some reason they are very high on my bucket list but I have not been anywhere that they even exist.

Aaron:

Should I consider a Hippo there or elsewhere? I don't want to pursue if odds are not in our favor. A reason for another safari if needed.

What other species should I pursue while there?
