Only a few more days until the deadline for applying for Elk and Antelope in Idaho. We have a wilderness area for Elk, Deer and Bear (Deer and Bear are over the counter) but you must draw for an Elk tag. This is a trophy Elk area. The Antelope tag must be drawn as well but we have private ranches to hunt them on if you get a tag. Rifle Elk hunts are 8 days (6 hunting) at $3,800 and Antelope hunts are $1,750 for 5 days. Normally 1-2 days to take a buck but it never hurts to have a few extra days just in case.

SidnyeSo are you selling a Idaho LAP tag on the pronghorn?
Just asking because this is a hot issue here in Idaho----always thought you couldn't sell LAP tags.

L. David KeithSidnye, I spoke with the rancher and asked him if it was an LAP tag and he said no, it was a trespass fee. Therefore, it's much less expensive to draw a tag and buy the hunt, so I passed. Thanks for bring that up. LDK
