It would be great to see some photos of the area, land terrain, buildings, houses, village / town, local people, some animals.

Just a general mix of photos would be very interesting.

It looks like somebody is about to get wild boar driven hunt fever. Go for it, sir! Hungary is a great destination with long time hunting tradition.

LOL!

I wish I could do even one trip now.

I saw your website but no photos.

Apologies. I saw the gallery of photos. Great stuff.

Always good to see photos of actual area and actual lodge, guides etc. Good for your own marketing and gives confidence to potential clients.

I have seen driven hunts advertised, but had "fees" for each animal shot. Is the game here extra charge free? I am going to save this, as very interesting and interested. Like others, just out of curiosity would be interested in some pictures.

No extra fees involved.

On some hunts you pay a fee to be there then per animal you shoot.

Interested in this hunt. Would like to know where it will be held. So we all fly into Budapest on the 17th and fly out the same day to the hunt area? commercial or charter? Also confused about the local transport cost. How difficult is it to bring a gun to the EU. May want to shoot pheasants also while there. Can pm me the info if you'd like

It’s held south of Budapest by 1.5/2 hours. We don’t take a charter flight anywhere; we go on a coach.
Bringing a gun is easy enough and doesn’t cost lots.
I can’t aort the pheasant hunt but can pass you on to someone who could.

That’s the bag for two days shooting on average. Could be more and could be slightly less. Many things can affect the bag ; weather, ability of shooters, how the animals go through the line of shooters etc.

How is this party going ?

Few questions if I may -

1/ straight from airport to hunting concession or stay / overnight in Budapest ?

2/ assume this is all open forest / woodland and shooting from stands ?

3/ how many drives per day

4/ are you allowed to keep trophies (boars tusks?)

5/ is it just you putting this together or other agents / outfits to make up the number ?

6/ what sort of accommodations ?

Interested.

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

1/ We go straight to hotel from the airport. Hungary isn’t a huge country so is easy transfer.

2/ Yes woodland and forest , topography is some flat and some hill ground. We mostly stand on the floor.

3/ 2-5 depending on how we are doing etc

4/ Yes for sure you can keep what you shoot. It may not be possible to have tusks before we depart as it takes some work to remove and clean but within a few weeks you’d have them.

5/ It’s hosted by a good friend of mine whose a ph there. I am offering it out and no other “agent” is. Normally it fills with Austrian hunters, but dates clash for them this year.

6/ We stag in a nice hotel, rural but clean and good food.

It’s a good cheap hunt, and you may be lucky and get a few animals or you may be in the wrong place at the wrong time and not get anything but Driven hunts are good fun and enjoyable for all.
