Hello:

My name is Jim Welles. I own and operate JFW Ranch Consulting, LLC, with my wife Kelly at 10600 Eagle Rock Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87122. My phone number is 505.294.7861. Our e-mail address is JFWRC@comcast.net. I have been a registered outfitter in NM for 18+ years.

The Block Ranch is located on the northern slopes of the Capitan Mountains in SE NM. This ranch consist of 36,000 deeded acres (56 miles) of private hunting. We only take 5 hunters on this ranch. The 2012 season date is Nov 17-21. We have applied to the Game and Fish for 2 December hunts to encompass the rut.....if we get these, we will only have 3 spots open for Nov 17.....but we will we remain flexible for groups if needed. If you are a die hard muzzy hunter, we could accommodate that preference Oct 20-24. However, we will not be taking over 5 total hunters on this ranch, no matter the weapon type.

Meals and lodging are included in the total price of $3,500 each + NM Gross Receipts Tax of 7%. The state license is the hunters responsibility and runs $294. Lodging on this ranch is at the Swiss Chalet in Ruidoso, NM. Ruidoso is about a 40 minute ride from the ranch boundary. Meals take place at restaurants with lunch (sandwiches-snacks) provided at the ranch. For folks that like the added recreation of gambling, the Inn of The Mountain Gods Casino is 10 minutes away from the Swiss Chalet. The reason we went this way as to the lodging is to allow for additional fun in a mountain town while hunting deer during the day.

I will be posting pictures following this introduction.

Thanks for looking.

Jim Welles
