Wyoming Archery Elk – Hunt #01-E – I can offer a $750 discount per hunter on this one. Price will be $3000 per hunter and in Unit 37. Only 2 hunters will be taken on this hunt this year. Hardworking outfitter who is a bowhunter himself. Application deadline is January 31. Link: http://www.premierhuntingadven...%E2%80%93-hunt-01-e/

Hunt # 17-MO – British Columbia moose hunt. There were some AR members interested in this hunt last year so I thought I'd post it again. The guy we booked on this hunt in 2009 killed an excellent moose on the third day of his 10 day hunt. Picture attached. He saw three other bulls before killing this one. 100% success rate the past 3 years. Only two hunters taken per year on this hunt. $5500 each for 2x1 hunt. Please email or call to discuss. Thanks.

Sounds like the outfitter is Mike Young. Is it?

Mike is the man. He will bust his ass for you. If you are good shape and want a good moose, I would book with him. I bought a hunt from him in 2007 and had a great time.

The only issue here is the weather: you need to plan on wasting some time on weather. I spent the first five days of my hunt in a hotel. Flew out on day 5. Killed a big bull on day 6.

I forgot about this post; Mike just emailed me to say hello.

AnotherAZWriter - thanks for the good word on Mike and his hunts. Everyone I have sent to Mike has had a great hunt. He is honest, hard working and not satisfied until your animal is on the ground.

Last year warm weather was the issue on the mid-September fly-in hunts. It didn't affect human travel but did affect the amount of traveling the moose were doing.

The hunt I have posted is the one that they get to via truck so no fly-in required. Also on this one, there is a fair amount of time on 4 wheelers so it isn't as physical as the fly-in hunt.

This 2x1 is still available. I start my show schedule on January 22, so if interested, please let me know ASAP. I can also provide the name and phone number of last year's hunter on this trip. He has been on 4 moose hunts and said this one was the best. I believe he killed the 4th bull he saw on the third day.
