We are open for business in Tanzania!

After a LOT of hassle I manage to get my two PH's (Gawie and Koos) into Mbarangandu. They are now fixing our camp up so that we can start our first Safari on 20 August.

I cannot begin to express my thanks to our community of hunters in Tanzania that helped us with equipment and vehicles, since we could not get our usual trucks and equipment up there.

True it is a shorter season, but we manage to get some hunters to go!

At the moment I have an open camp from 22 September to first week of November!

I know it is short notice, but we still have 1 x Leopard tag (Leopard/Buff combo) that I am offering at a CRAZY price of $35k!

Also I am offering our Cape Buffalo hunts for the all inclusive price of $16,500.00 and a second Buff for $3,500.00!

Friends Mbarangandu is a famous and fantastic hunting block compromising of about 600,000 acres of un-spoilt hunting wilderness in the southern Selous!

My response will be a bit slow and spotty, as I am culling Buff next to Kruger, and I have zero internet or cell service there! I will, however try to get back to you sometime during this week or the weekend!

We need hunters in the camps to keep these prime hunting destinations alive! No hunters NO conservation.......As Long as we have a presence there is incentive to look after the game. We are at a huge financial loss with our 2blocks, and these hunts will only re-coup a fraction of what is lost. The motivation is more to get people there than to try and salvage financial losses! The money is gone, but not our hope.

Guys I have been there and done that. The area has great buff and lots of dumb leopards. There are some very big buff there too. If you can swing it this year, go. It's a solid hunt with a very solid operator.

I hunted with Charl in 2013 in SA and he worked his ass off.

I know one of his TZ PH’s Gawie and that guy works his ass off for clients as well.

You will be in great hands with them.

I have known Charl since 2003. (17 years) He's the real deal and he's honest as the day's long. I hunted with him in the Eastern Cape in 2017 for my last tiny ten animal-a Cape Grysbok, and there wasn't a hiccup in the hunt. I did the inaugural "bucket list" hunt in 2013 with him. On that hunt, I got every animal on my bucket list and a couple of extras. Everything was perfectly planned and executed. We went to all of the provinces in South Africa in order to be able to hunt the bucket list animals, with the exception of the Northern Province. He worked his ass off, and his (at that time) girlfriend Erika (now his wife) was all a part of the planning and details. Gawie is a superb Tanzanian PH and is Erika's brother, so there's no screwing up clients or hunts. You'd be in good hands without any doubt.

I think you arrived just after I left as Charl was telling me he had an AR member coming in right after me to hunt the Tiny Ten.


Watch out for Erica’s cooking. You WILL gain weight.

I hunted and took spotted Hyena, Vaal Rhebok, Honey Badger, Oribi, Caracal(2), Bushpig, Serval, Blue Duiker, Cape Bushbuck, so not really the Tiny Ten, but a couple ended up on that ongoing quest, which I later finished up with Charl in 2017, in the Eastern Cape. I was, however, Charl's first Bucket List Hunter, as we had come up with that idea months before. But to the point, hunting with him or his outfit is pure fun and yes, Erika can cook!!

Friend Carey: you have no worries with Charl and Erika. I have hunted with them and they will give you more than you can imagine. Gavie is a great PH as well although I have not hunted with him personally. Rest easy my friend. Cheers luke
