We would like to offer the following 2x1 buffalo special in the Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania for 2024:

7 full days hunting, not including travel days

Included in the safari price:
• Day rates
• Government hunting permit
• Government conservation fees
• Government trophy export fee
• Concession fee
• Community development fee
• Service of PH (PvT personally), trackers and camp staff
• Use of fully equipped hunting vehicle
• Field preparation of trophies
• Transfer of trophies to Dar es Salaam
• Tented en-suite safari camp
• Daily laundry
• All food, bottled water, soft drinks and alcohol in moderation
• Meet and greet on arrival
• Assistance with rifle clearance on arrival and departure

Excluded in safari price:
• International flights to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
• Trophy fees (see below)
• Rifle import fee ($350 per rifle)
• Hotel accommodation before and after safari (PvT will assist with all arrangements)
• Air cargo charges for shipping of trophies to final destination
• Observer fee ($490 per person per night)
• Ammunition tax ($2 per bullet)
• Dip, pack and crate of trophies ($1 500 per person)
• Charter ($2800 per leg, to be shared between hunters)

Trophy fees are inclusive of VAT, anti-poaching and community development fees.
All government fees are subject to change.
All animals shot and wounded will be charged for in full.

You will fly in to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where you will be met on arrival by our representative who will assist with rifle import. He will also assist with hotel transfers. The following day you will charter in to the hunting area by Cessna Caravan 13-seater airplane. You will be met on the landing strip by Pierre and his crew. The remainder of the day will be spent sighting in rifles and settling in to camp. Hunting begins the following day.

After completion of this very exciting adventure, you will charter back to Dar es Salaam and either fly home, or make use of the opportunity to visit some of Tanzania’s beautiful game parks such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. You may also wish to charter directly to Zanzibar to enjoy a few days on glorious white beaches. PvT can assist with all these arrangements.
