Gary Duckworth gave me the green light to offer these non-trophy hunts again for '15 in their Sengwa Research area. These hunts are an outstanding value with a absolutely top notch operator.

1X1 exportable buffalo 5 days to include trophy fee $9,500.
1x1 non-exportable elephant cow 7 days to include trophy fees $12,000

Elephant trophy fee $3,000 and buff trophy fee $2,000 refundable if not taken although as Gary Duckworth said on Skype "Doubt they won't shoot though as buff and eles are plentiful!!!"

Non trophy for the buffalo means a hardheaded bull under 34" or with broken horns and the ele is a cow only.

I don't know of a less expensive way to have a traditional buffalo or elephant hunt. For a hunter that can live without the trophy as these ele cows are non exportable this is just plain cheap and offered by one of the most highly respected safari operators in Zimbabwe. This is perfect for a hunter that just thought he'd never be able to hunt buff and ele or the experienced hunter that now just wants the experience. How about a 12 day combo for an old Dugga boy and a mature cow elephant?

I hear from guys pretty often that say they only want a good hunt. Well! Here you go. The overall safari cost is even less for the ele since there is no dip/pack or shipping costs.

It would all depend on what dates you could go and who was available. If you'd like I can find out when Hilton would be available. I hunted with Hilton in '96 and also had a good safari.

My son and I just hunted Sengwa with Neil and Doug Duckworth in October. We had a terrific hunt and both of us got good dugga boys. There are plenty of buffalo and elephant in this area and both trophy and non trophy hunting should be quite good. The new camp is quite comfortable and Mokore always takes excellent care of you. I would recommend them without reservation.

I'm bringing this to the top again as this is a very good deal and 3 buffalo and 3 eles are still left for '14.

Am I mis-reading or missing something?
Non trophy buff is 9500 plus trophy fee? That is about 1900 per day in addition to the fee. Same calculation for elephant--a bit over 1700 per day plus the fee. Is this correct?

Looks like the trophy fees are included since there is a sentence about refunding a portion if unsuccessful. Just my read.
