As you may know the du Plooys/Muchinga Adventures have the fantastic Chifunda GMA on the Luangwa river in Zambia. You may also know there is no finer leopard hunting in Africa. I've never had a client fail on leopard on the Luangwa and it would be very unusual for the hunt to go beyond 7 days without the leopard being in the salt.

The area is wild Africa in spades and I'd be very surprised if you didn't hear lions calling at night very close to camp, hippos carry-on in the river, have elephant and leopard visiting the camp in the night.

Guys this hunt is more expensive than what you'll find in Zimbabwe but if you shoot well you should only have to do this hunt once and additionally it's a daylight hunt. No camping out near the bait, elaborate alarm systems and rheostat controlled lights necessary. The leopard comes in daylight and you shoot him. Simple. Hunting a leopard on the Luangwa is far less like work than hunting a leopard in the lowveld of Zimbabwe.

How about lions IN camp....oh yeah. I went with Johnnie about 9 years ago and we had leopards on every one of our baits. Awesome place and it IS real wild Africa...100%.

Chifunda is even better than Chanjusi and Nyaminga. Feature that! Wild Africa is no wilder than on the Luangwa.
