I have licenses for 10 free range Japanese Sika Stag hunts based on a privately owned 2200 acre estate in south England. There are 3 types of Sika in UK, Japanese, Formosan and Manchurian. The latter two are only found in enclosed deer parks.

Best time of year is October as this is when they rut. Sika are quite nocturnal and hunting involves getting picked up 30 minutes before its light enough to shoot then spending a few hours hunting, then going back to the lodging for a late breakfast and relax for a few hours then hunting again till dark.
Hunters need to be capable to shoot from shooting sticks and from high seats as the stalking is mainly from foot.

Lodging is in a pub in a village or can be in a market town not far away- depends on clients choice.

I recommend 3-4 days to hunt a nice trophy stag.

Prices are 500 USD a day and fixed price stag is 1250 USD.

Price includes: airport transfers from & to Heathrow or Gatwick / accomodation/ meals/ drinks/ hunting guides / all ground transport in England connected to the hunt / rifle hire.

Price excludes: flights / tips/ personal expenses/ gun import fee 100 USD / trophy fee of 1250 USD / anything not included in included.

Wounded animals are classed as taken and all will be followed up with tracking dogs and best effort made to find. We have good guns, mainly Blaser in .270 or bigger so advise you to use those.

For reference a good trophy stag is 4 x4 and around 40cm + length. We can sort all skinning, taxidermy, or dip and pack.
