My risk tolerance is pretty high.

Are there any safety concerns hunting in Burkina Faso? I hate asking but the radical Islamist concern me somewhat.

I live close to NYC, the day before that A*%%^$ ran over those people i was in the same area. Last week I was in the same subway that the next idiot tried to blow himself up. The point I am making is that you never know what can happen and where, this seems to be the new normal!! Is Burkina a war zone or a place where there are even monthly kidnappings, shooting , bombings, not at all. I plan to spend a good amount of time in BF next year myself and would never knowingly put any client in harms way.

Supposedly the border areas with Mali are dangerous but far away from the hunting areas. If you look at Cameroon am sure they will say the same, again the problems are in a place called extreme north far from the hunting areas.

Thanks,

Arjun Reddy

Shit our group went in two weeks after the terrorist attack on the hotel in Ouagga... security was tight, multiple checkpoints headed to our concession but the hunting was pretty damn good. Five of us shot our buff and roan in four days. You ain't gonna live forever buttercups!

Buttercup? I will remember that when I am sitting in first class on the way to Brazil drinking a colorful beverage with an umbrella wearing skinny jeans

Where is the hunting area?

Can you bring your own rifle to BF or is the camp rifle mandatory? 300 Euros per client is a nice return on the rifle investment.

I've visited a lot of bad places in this world, I just usually don't get to go armed.
