Alaska Trophy Outfitters has 2 Brown Bear Openings for this Fall (Sept 20th-October 20th) and 1 opening for Spring of 2012 (May 10th-25th) as well as one Moose opening for Sept 5th-15th on the Alaska Peninsula. We are a small & personalized outfitting business. We operate out of 7 camps in the Fall, most of which are wall tents with sub floors and bunks, and 5 in the Spring. I never take more than 4 hunters in the Fall or 3 in the Spring for Brown Bears. I only take 2 Moose hunters every other year, which falls on odd years when I have brown bear hunts. My moose have been 100% Success on 60+ bulls and my bear rifle hunters have had 100% success with over a 9 foot average, while 4 out of 5 bowhunters shot bears. Moose hunts are 14,500.- and bear hunts are 15,500.-. The Fall Bear and Moose are both 10 day hunts, the Spring Brown Bear is 15 daysSince it is so late in the season I'm willing to discount these hunts 15%. There is a 800.- charter fee to get to our strip. All hunts are 1 on 1. Hunters will fly into Kenai, Alaska where you will be picked up and taken to get your tags as well as check your gun at the range. You will overnight in Kenai and then fly out the following day in either a Beaver or Turbine Otter to a strip where you will then be shuttled via supercub to camp. A brown bear tag is 500.- or a moose tag is 400.- and you must have a hunting license at 85.-. Thank you | |||
