3 Guinea fowl is a bit restrictive and is this part of the cull quota?

I thought I had commented on that thread but must have been another one or under another title maybe? Still can't see the problem, you sign up a contract and you stick to it. As a Contract Manager I might as well give up my job if people select just what they will honour or not. There must be a few of you on this forum who are businessmen, lawyers, doctors, tradesman etc and I bet not too many will just drop a bill because someone can't or won't pay or has a hard luck story. Wish I could find a dentist or lawyer that would be so generous. Sorry to seem harsh but I have been there done that with cancer too, bloody serious and unknown outcome before starting months of chemo and radio therapy so you can't say I don't know what it would be like. I honoured my promises and contracts, paid the bills and the mortgage and if I had of had a non-refundable deposit on anything would have honoured that too. Then that's just me. I suppose we are all different.

12 years ago i had put down a deposit on a game ranch in RSA( my retirement dream). 3 weeks later i was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma with 8-10 years to live at best. i contacted the seller there and explained the situation( i.e., i wouldn't live long enough to ever enjoy the property). he immediately emailed BACK THAT HE WOULD PRAY FOR ME AND REFUNDED THE DEPOSIT. well, something must have been right with God as 12 years later my oncologist considers me cured. now i wish i had completed the sale but my point is - YOU CAN DO WHAT IS RIGHT OR YOU CAN DO WHAT IS LEGAL AND THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE SAME!!! I would have completed the sale as required but at least there is 1 person in the world who sees beyond the law and has a concept of compassion. your mileage may vary...

No one disputed the legalities of Bushwack's actions. Carolinasman paid the deposit and Bushwack kept it. All the contract managers will be satisfied with the result.

And yes, thankfully, we are all different.

This kind of thinking is what is wrong with the world today. Money over all else.

To be frank, Bushwack can stick this offer where the sun don't shine. A man whose primary morality is the contract has absolutely no character or empathy. I also find it pretty shameless that the guy is still trying to market here. Does he think we all have a collective memory that is so short. Honestly, it is time to put the original Carolinasman thread up on the other big hunt sites to make sure no one else books with this idiot. Anyone so penny wise and pound foolish is to be avoided like the plague!

Rule #1 when you find yourself in a hole......STOP DIGGING! You made a silly shortsighted decision with Carolinasman and you are following it up with more marketing that is only going to create more dialogue and bring that old issue back to the top of peoples minds. Not so smart.

LOL! This "history" was three whole MONTHS ago. It's not like you told a potentially dying man to "stick it" ten years ago or something! To be honest, I like to hope that we as human beings are the sum of things that we do when it hurts us....just because it is the right thing to do. That is what defines our character. Given that, I am amazed that you have the stones to come on this site and expect people to trust you with their money or hunt.

The problem is that history tends to repeat itself. You've got a track record for others to be wary of.
