A scrub bull - these are feral cattle that have roamed wild forever in the bush. They also take some lead!


We spotted this big pig in the water with a mob of buffalo and first thought it was a calf! I crept up along the bank and the 470 did the job! Getting him out was a bit of a mess.

If you have always wanted to hunt Australia here is a fantastic opportunity to hunt two prime areas for Buffalo and Banteng. In collaboration with our Australian partners, we've organized a group hunt for up to 6 hunters which will allow us to offer an incredible price of $22,800 per hunter, a $3,200 saving off our regular rate! The price includes a trophy Buffalo bull, a cull buffalo cow, and a trophy Banteng and everything else except what's mentioned in the Extras list.

Our partner in Australia boasts one of the largest hunting concessions in remote Arnhem Land, covering approximately 2 million acres with thousands of buffalo. It's not a matter of if you'll shoot a good bull, but rather which one you will select. Accommodation is in a remote tented camp situated on the banks of a small creek with hot and cold showers, toilet and running water and wi-fi. Here you will hunt for six full days. Using side-by-sides to access remote areas, you'll hunt by spot and stalk. In addition to the trophy bull and cull cow included in your hunt cost, you can also hunt extra buffalo, scrub bulls (feral cattle), donkeys, and pigs. While not as wary as a Cape buffalo, Asiatic water buffalo are just as impressive and most of them take multiple well placed shots from a big bore rifle to bring to bag. This is the ideal hunt for double rifle enthusiasts who like to get in close with their big double rifles. Archery hunters are also welcome and enjoy a high success rate.

After this portion of your hunt, you will Charter to Coburg National Park, to hunt the elusive Banteng. Coburg is the site of the original Banteng release in Australia. Don't be mistaken by their looks, Banteng are a true wild species of bovine from Southeast Asia, highly endangered in their native habitats in Java, Thailand, and Borneo, Australia is the only place where you can hunt these rare animals. Closely related to the Indian Gaur or bison, they are cunning and challenging to hunt. You will access the hunting areas by boat or vehicle and then hunt entirely on foot. Banteng are very wary animals and are a thrill to hunt. Your hunt for Banteng will be 6 full hunting days, after which you will Charter back to Darwin. The scenic camp by the ocean offers great fishing opportunities after your hunt. However, be cautious of saltwater crocodiles that inhabit the area!

Getting there - from the States, fly into Brisbane or Sydney and then take a flight to Darwin, where you will start your Hunt down under! We will be working with a reputable agent to help you with your flights to Australia.

Dates 2026 - Arrive Darwin 31st July, AM Charter flight to Coburg (Banteng hunt) on 1st August. Charter to Arnhem Land on 8th August and start your Buffalo hunt. Charter to Darwin 15th August to arrive by early Afternoon

Taking Rifles - If you are planning on touring around Australia before or after your hunt we do not advise bringing a rifle. If not we can arrange your temporary import and export permit to bring your own firearm. We have good quality, scoped bolt action rifles for clients use in 375 H&H, 416 and 450 Rigby calibers for clients use.
