Zambia Luangwa Valley Lion Leopard Buffalo hunt

14-Day Leopard & Buffalo was $28,900 now $21,900
18-day Lion & Buffalo was $48,900 now $27,300
21-day Lion, Leopard and Buffalo was $57,000 now $30,300

The 21-day hunt I feel is the best value. The Leopard here are great, success is excelent and you get 3 extra days to hunt, which should up your odds for Lion.

This is with Fico Vidale Safaris, their block lies right next to Johnny du Plooy in the Luangwa.

Dates are now through mid November.

This is a great area of the Luangwa valley, this cost includes all government fees and licenses, dip and pack and flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe and return. No need for a charter here! This is an "all in" price except for trophy fees and tips.

Observers are welcome at $300/day.

Included
Day rate for 14, 18 or 21 days
Concession Fee
Dip & Pack Fee
Flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe and return
Gun License for two guns
Bird License

Not Included
Trophy Fees
Airfare from US to Lusaka
Gratuities
Insurance of any kind

Yes, it will be hot!

Here is the trophy fee list. A second Buffalo is a possibility.

Trophy fees
Baboon 120
1st Buffalo 2,500
2nd Buffalo 3,750
Bushbuck 600
Eland 3,000
1st Hippo 2,000

Damn I love that old lion Scott!

I was hunting with Alister Norton PH while in Zamiba 3 weeks ago. He said they were cutting the lion quota in Zambia by half next year.

supply demand rules may apply next year for Zambia.

Damn glad I got mine already, Screaming deal!

FYI, I just updated the list with a Lion/Leopard option. And there is the option to shoot 2 Buffalo on these hunts.

Mark Young was trying to sell two late season lions for Fico in very late October of last year. Anyone know the outcome of those hunts? If they sold, if they were successful, etc?

Wendell: Any idea who the PH would be? Just how late in November could one hunt?

Will,

Mid-November is about as late as you can practically go. It is going to be hot at this time of year!

I like the 21-day option best, it gives you more time to hunt Lion. Plus, the Leopard hunting here is unbelievable. With the option for a second Buffalo, and a Leopard, this is an extremely good deal.

Fico said he was available to do this hunt.
