Spring Grizzly Bear Hunts LAST PRICE UPDATE!!!

I have a time slot in my schedule open for a spring grizzly bear hunt in interior alaska.
Guided by me.
April 15-23 are the hunt dates.

Cost is normally $12,000, LAST OFFER IS $8000.00

Stay in a remote lodge, with internet, hot and cold water, showers, cook, a view that won't quit and your own snowmachine for transportation during the hunt. Took a nice bear on this hunt last year on day 5 right at his den.
Travel the mountians looking for fresh bear sign and/or dens.
There is a $1000 security deposit on the snowmachine, you will get all of it back if you don't break anything, save for a $150 dealer inspection fee to have the machine checked out after you use it.
Wolves are in the area and you don't need a tag to hunt them if we cut fresh sign!

8.5 foot boar, taken at 270 yards with a .416 rem mag, one shot. spotted him the day before and couldn't get on him, managed to pull it off the next day. saw one other set of tracks that was in the mid nine foot range bear.

Jake, I have an older friend who might be interested, I can pass on the info to him.

What would you rate the physical aspect of this hunt at (1-10)? The pics are kinda decieving. I understand the style of hunt (high up searching for un-denning bears), but I have seen some areas where bears are denning higher in elevations.....the phisicality of it will be his biggest concern (he's older & has bad knees).

Also (out of interest) I see your gun in the den......what are you packing there? kinda looks like a lever action.

the gun is a colt 1911, 10mm.

this might be a tougher hunt if your not in good shape. i've got some oct bear hunts on salmon streams that would be much more up his alley!

Thanks, I wont even tell him then....not being able to do hunts like this is grieving him pretty bad.

For CRYING ALOUD
I have booked up all this year what a great hunt.
One of these days we will get together. My buddy from Portage Creek said you are the best one on one guide hunter in Alaska.
I am assuming thats this spring this offer.
Maybe next spring if I know earlier have booked 2 hunts for next spring but maybe fit one like this in between Cougar and Stag.
Good luck on this hunt (as if you need luck)

Ok guys the price has dropped since we are getting closer and closer to the hunt dates! this is the point on the posting where some guys decide to wait and see if they can get a better deal and where one guy decides to take it and go on a great adventure.
Then i end up posting pics later and everyone who didn't take it goes.."ahh man i shoulda done it, but was trying to hold out for a couple hundred more bucks off!!"
Ain't gonna lie, its much cheaper to not go. If if you don't go, you can't complain about not ever getting a bear.
thanks to all the guys who have checked flights budgets and with wives to see if they could do this trip so far.

Jake
You start out from Anchorage correct?
Then you go up to a snowmobile trail head somewhere and take machines back to the cabin?
Then ride the machines all day to cut tracks and glass hill sides for bears or dens that opened up.
Jake
I hope you can feel sorry for me nobody else will. CRYBABY
I need to check some scheduling on a few projects tomorrow and then I will make the low ball offer, if I can get free during that time slot.

ok guys, running out of time, wife and i talked and we need to sell this. This last price is my final offer unless someone comes up with an offer that me and my wife can agree will work. I'm more than willing to hear it but this is the best that i can offer.

$8000.00 and the hunt is yours.

Being financially embarassed sure sucks dancing

I may have to seek gainful employment and quit buying guns if this keeps up!

Heck, I'd give up smoking cigars for two weeks to do this.
