I have a couple of Buffalo permits still available on Sondelani Ranch for 2023.

The area is situated around 220kms South of Bulawayo along the Bulawayo Beitbridge Highway thus making access to the lodge very easy by a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Bulawayo airport

The lodge has no less than 6 fully serviced chalets able to sleep 2 people per chalet. All with en-suite bathrooms and toilet facilities.

The hunting area is game fenced along its perimeter and is around 20 000 acres in extent and does not have any internal fences. There is good population of Buffalo, Impala, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Kudu, Eland, bush buck, Zebra.

The Buffalo that inhabit this area have been hunted here for more than 20 years thus are an established population and are very wise to the sounds and smells that emanate from hunters. Therefore, a fair amount of walking, glassing and extremely careful stalking in the thick bush will be required.

Trophy size of Buffalo - hard headed mature bulls from mid-thirties to low forties

Buffalo hunts on offer
10 day 1 x 1 USD$ 625.00 per day

14 day 1 x 1 USD$ 600.00 per day (offering 2 Buff Bulls on this option)

Having hunted with Gary in 2019, you won't find a nicer guy to hunt with. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Gary probably won't mind if I post a couple of photos from last years buff hunt at Sondelani.

I'm going back later this year but since we are tripping on buffalo skulls here, I'm going to limit myself to one bull. The odds of finding one of two really dandy's I saw last year aren't good, we'll try. If I come home empty handed, I still had my fun.

My god, what a blast from the past. I was on Sondelani with Gary Hopkins in 2000 while the first wave of war vets were showing up. The original Buffalo that were to be re-introduced were in their pens when I was there.
I would highly recommend Gary Hopkins and would hunt with him again.
