I just had a client back out of his dall sheep spot due to cancer.
Hunt dates are aug 9-18
hunt cost is $13,000
This hunt is a backpacking hunt in interior alaska, for 8 full days of hunting, we could combo with grizzly and add a couple days on the front end as well for an additional fee.
Last years sheep client tagged out on day three with a 8 year old double broomed ram.
Need to be in shape to backpack the mountians, carrying approx 50-80lbs of gear, we use spike camps and cover alot of country. Success rate is right around 70% for those who are in shape and ready to work. I do all my own guiding, if would be just me and you in the field. no other clients.

Jake, how old was that gnarly old double broomer?

we were guessing around 10. it was hard to say for sure, his horns looked like he broke them a long time ago at the same time, wasn't a typical "broomed horn". took me two years to get him, went after him the year before but a hole in the fog and he busted us...second year, i pushed him up into the back of the valley, to the tip top of the tallest mountian for 30 miles..he died with a view.

Thanks for the info....He's a stud of a ram, I admire him every time I see a pic of him posted on any of the various forums.
