+1 I'd particullarly like to see some pics of some red deer and roe buck that have been taken. Can you also provide a discription of the area(s) to be hunted as well? Thanks, George "...Africa. Just a note to anyone thinking of bringing thier own gun; all military calibers are banned in France. Don't even think of bringing an .30-06! H. Arjun, My wife and daughter, sometimes my son, love to vacation in Paris. Paris is nice, but after a few days, I'd rather go hunting. Would like to hear more about this. Is time of year an issue -- do I need to steer their trip to a particular time of year?

September to November for most species, June to August for roe deer (it's in the first post). _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

BTT - We have booked quite a few of these hunts, but still have a few prime dates available for roe deer. Nothing like a few days spent in the French countryside in southern france and a few days in Paris. Go now while the euro is at an all time low. Wow Arjun, These prices seem really reasonable. Are the chamois and sheep in the same areas...or do you have to travel...what about gun permits? Do you assist? How tough are the mnts the chamois in?!?

Here are some photos from last season. We still have a few place left if anyone is interested for this year. With the low euro this is an unbeatable offer the accomodations are also very nice, your better half will be very happy too. This is a great opportunity to also take a kid hunting. Thanks for looking Arjun Reddy www.huntersnetworks.com Tel: 845 259 3628 NY

Do the French deer surrender as soon as a German hunter fires at them? Or do they wait for an American hunter to rescue them and then stab them in the back with their antlers? Jesus saves, but Moses invests

Are the rates in your first message in U.S. dollars?? If so, what does the value of the Euro have to do with anything in regards to the hunt/trophy fees? Tony Mandile - Author "How To Hunt Coues Deer"
|
One of Us |
Tony, The hunt is in USD and you are right that the xchange rate does not matter for the hunt cost as things stand. However the outfitters costs are in euros and if he sees the rate go to say 1 euro to 1.5 dollars the same hunt will become more expensive in USD. Also with the euro being as low as it is a trip to europe is as cheap as its going to get! There are always add ons to pay for! Hope this answers the Q. Thanks, Arjun

Thanks for the clarification. IOW, someone who booked at the above rates wouldn't see any difference. I can understand the peripheral costs being better, however. We go through it every fall with the peso when we visit Mexico for our two-week annual R&R. Tony Mandile - Author "How To Hunt Coues Deer"

BTT - Our first clients of the season had a great hunt last week and shot some nice roe buck with multiple trophies taken. I will post photos of them as soon as I get them. If anyone is interested in this hunt for this year please let me know ASAP. This is a very good price for a quality hunt and the accomodations are simply superb. Thanks for looking. Really, those posts are absolutely outrageous. They embarass us and themselves. Shame on both of them. Reddy375, I apologize for the boorish behavior displayed by those two. It is not typical of most American hunters, thank god. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Hold on there, hoss...... I displayed NO embarrassing behaviour.....and am also disgusted by the remarks of Bud Meadows and Brain1 ..........I merely asked about his/their lack of manners. And, I join you in apologising to the offended parties. Alex

Give me a break. Try to read before you fly off the handle. What do you think "Really, those posts are absolutely outrageous." means.....hint, it means I agreed with your post and my post was not referring to you at all. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. Conifer: Sorry you don't share my sense of humor. I was merely making fun of the French propensity for cowardice in battle and lack of support for an ally that bailed them out of two wars. Jesus saves, but Moses invests

You have just come out and proven to all what an utter idiot you are. Sadly, individuals like you give all of us hunters a bad name, not just American hunters. This sort of behaviour is NOT acceptable on AR. So please clean up your act, or go to other sites that might appreciate this sort of behavior.
|

Why doesn't the moderator/administrator just remove the offending posts or move them to the political forum as it obviously has nothing to do with the hunt offered. I hunt to live and live to hunt!

This thread belongs here as it is an offer of a hunt. It is only due to the incosiderate behavior of one individual to turn it into a political argument.

While I too have had serious problems with French politics in relation to our great country, to be absolutely fair, they have also helped bail us out of one war...the first we ever fought. (My apologies to our administrator and benefactor on the political nature of the previous sentence.) The hunts look fantastic. I'm headed there in September, but alas, I never received any further information to plan a hunt.

I apologise to anyone offended by my previous remarks regarding the French. My original posting was meant in humor, and things just spiralled down from there. Sorry, Saeed, nothing "political" was meant. Jesus saves, but Moses invests

Hello Bud, Saw your apology, frankly I don't care what you said other than this thread became a debate on something other than my hunt offering!, but thanks anyway. I hope you will come and hunt in France one of these days, it's truly a great hunt. Arjun Reddy www.huntersnetworks.com
