We have the pleasure to offer you fixed price chamois hunting in Romania. Every season we use to shoot 12 chamois in this area and we have few available licenses for the next season.

Size of the area 12 000 ha.

Distance between :

Otopeni Bucharest airport and hotel:200 km(3 hours).

Sibiu airport and hotel: 130 km (2,1 hours)

Average of trophies:95-100 CIC,Largest trophy 118 CIC, smallest trophy 73 CIC.

The chamois hunt can be combined with wild boar hunting.

Hunting season: 1 Sep.-15 Dec.

Best time: 20 October – 15 December

Package: 4 hunting days with 5 days of full accommodation+1 chamois

Are included the followings :

* 5 nights in lodge / 4****hotel-single room, with three meals a day and soft drinks. You can find details bellow:

* 4 days complete hunting organization (Romanian hunting permits, trophy cleaning, trophy evaluation and documentation, packaging for shipment)
* Car usage on the hunting location
* Individual hunting guide on territory (1:1)
* Transfer from airport to hunting lodge and back
* Translator
* Skinning for shoulder mount or full mount .
* 1 Chamois regardless the size of trophy

Price: 2700 €1 hunter; for group of 2 hunters 2600 Eu/hunter

In that case if the hunter will not shoot the chamois for different reasons 1400 Eu will be refund.

Wounded and not recovered chamois : 1100 Eu/1 chamois

Missed shot 75 Eu/ 1 shot

The hunting package doesn’t includes the:

*Rifle hire : 30 Eu /day( Blaser , Mauser etc)
*Ammo :2-3,5 Eu /1 piece
*Homologation of medaled trophies Diploma +medal -15 Eu/trophy
*Shipping of the trophies
*Alcoholic drinks, tips .

Wounded, not retrieved game (male, female)- 150 EURO,

The hunt can be combined with sightseeing - Citadels, castles , hunting museums etc.

75 Euro if you miss. Wow.

The reason for charging of missed shot is: we would like to offer the chance to each hunter to hunt in places where was not disturbed the game that season. If we go out, stalking ,climbing the mountains and somebody start to shoot over and over without any results, we need 2-3 weeks till the game will start to come back.We do not make big deal of it and finally if we shoot the chamois or wild boars we do not charge the hunter. During the last years were hunters who shot 12-15 bullets in several days... and we charged 2. In my opinion the purpose of the hunting trip is to have a nice experience with quality services, harvest the game and finally everybody to be pleased.

In June can be organized roe buck hunting. Stalking in the morning and evening. Roe buck hunt can be combined with wild boar(male) hunting.

I had the pleasure of hunting with Ioan last October for roe buck and chamois.

For anyone considering hunting in Romania, I'd highly recommend Ioan's services.

I enjoyed my week in Romania - the hunting was great, the people are friendly and the food fantastic.

I took two representative roe, hunting the last few days of the season, and missed my shot at a great chamois buck. I think Ioan and the hunting guide were more disappointed that I was going home without a chamois than I was.

If I'm still in Europe later this year, I'll do my best to hunt with Ioan again.

So did they charge you 75 euro? Personally i like the idea of having a small penalty for a whiff. Makes you think a little more before you pull the trigger.

No, I wasn't charged that fee...perhaps my missed shots were the cause for its introductions??

Hahaha ......it was already. Anyway are places where are applied and are places where are not applied this fees.

What is needed to bring my rifle into Romania? Do you help with that? Is there a place to store my rifle after the hunt while I do some sight-seeing? Thanks.
