Hog hunting is a great way to sharpen up your double rifle skills. Better to screw up on a hog than on a Jumbo or Cape Buff!

Yo, Chef !

(Are you in England now ???) If you decide to do this hunt some time .. I would be interested, too. Collared Javelina are on my bucket list .. although long ago I did whack a white lipped javelina in Bolivia .. Smiler

No I'm not but when I get back we should put together an Alberta killing team and go do this! It sounds like a ton of fun.

Brain 1 I do the hunts on a 20,000 acre ranch 18 miles east of Fort Stockton in Pecos county. Ranch is easily accessed off of I-10. Easiest way for me to get there from the MetroMess is to take I-20 west to Cisco then down 206 thru Coleman and pick up 67 and take it all the way till it hits I-10. Then go back east about 4 or 5 miles to FM 2023.

Hunt is for two Feral Hogs, up to 150 pounds per hunter.

Does this mean 150# each pig or a combined wait of the 2 pigs?

This sounds like a fun time, I'm trying to talk a group of friends into this.

Matt, that is for two pigs up to 150 pounds each.

Ted, we can do a two day - two doe hunt from the 3rd. thru 16th. of January for $500.00 per hunter 17 and older / $400.00 per hunter 16 and younger.

This is a Guided hunt, with meals and lodging and transportation during the hunt included.

The hang up as such, is that for the 16 and younger, the license is $7.00 to hunt deer, for 17 and older it is $315.00.

We have plenty of does available and a few spike bucks that need to come out of the herd.

Sorry but there is not a discount on this particular hunt. Feral hogs can be added at the prices listed in the original post, or a feral hog up to 150 pounds can be taken in place of one of the does.

I will have to pass on that one. Doe tags are $7 each (unlimited) around my house...I can kill $7 doe without leaving my county.

That is why I don't really publicize the doe hunts on here.

Unless someone is from Texas, it is not really economical for an adult to come here and hunt does.

We usually just offer those on Texas forums.
