Talked to JP today and we came up with a deal.
We will guarantee these buff hunts if you don't shoot a buff we will refund $8500.
We have this much confidence you will have a great hunt and get a buff.

any advice on flights .. I can't find anything under $2500 ... and some of the flights involve British Airways which is asking for trouble.

Just hunted JP's Eastern Cape concession last month with Charl, and shot a nice Cape Grysbok with JP and Charl. I was aware of his Moz holdings, but didn't realize until today that this was his concession's offerings. Is he the PH for these hunts, or is it someone else?

He is the PH on these hunts. He has over 400 buff hunts under his belt you will be in good hands.

I have met JP and his family, and know his history as a PH. I recently held and admired his Wilkes double rifle that is mentioned in one of Capstick's Death in the Long Grass stories. He was getting ready to leave for Moz when I was there last month, to do a buffalo hunt. Thanks for the updated information.
