For those in quest of the Springbok Grand Slam I have the following package on offer for 2013:

7 Day Package for $3,950 (2X1) or $4,450 (1X1)inclusive of the following trophy animals:

1 X SA Springbok
1 X Black Springbok
1 X White Springbok
1 X Copper Springbok

Also includes:

Tax on Daily rates
Airport pick-up (Port Elizabeth) and drop-off
All accommodations, meals and beverages
Services of licensed PH, Trackers,Skinners and Camp Staff
Use of hunting vehicle
Field preparation of trophies (Skinning, Marking and Salting)
Laundry Service

Additional 2 days for Vaal Rhebuck and Mountain Reedbuck hunt @ $450 p/d (1X1) or $350p/d (2X1) + trophy fees of -

That's a pretty good deal Chris!!! I loved hunting springbok when I was there in SA. One of the best looking critters there.

I would love a springbok grand slam. Especially a copper. I want a Baboon as well. PE is a great area. Hunted with the Rudman's there.

LittleJoe you're right - I grew up in the area and PE is great. This hunt will be about 3 hours from PE further inland in the Steynsburg vicinity. Mostly comprises of wide open plains so long shots of 200 yards + is to be expected.

Pardon my igornance but why does it appear that the Springbok in RSA have shorter horns than in Namibia? Different subspecies?

The Springbok in SA (for the most part) do indeed have shorter (and thinner) horns than those found in Namibia where they are also known as the Kalahari Springbok.

Both Rowland Ward and SCI recognize the two as different sub species with different mininmum requirements to make the book.
