How big is your farm, and how big are the farms you will be hunting. Rifle hunt? Thanks.

Could this be a bowhunt?

I can answer some of your questions since I have hunted with Anton before. Anton has access to several large properties. Some allow bow hunting, others rifle and some allow both. I know his ranch is 3600 acres plus. He has access to ranches that are over 20,000 acres and a few that are in the neighborhood of 120,000 to 150,000 acres.

If I didn't have 2 kids in college next year I would quietly snatch this up and book my tickets.

Please feel free to PM me if you need more information.

Matt, thanks for helping out with the answers. Anyone who wants more information on us is welcome to contact Matt Moore, he currently holds the SCI record for both the Kudu and the Nyala that he hunted with us. The Kudu is No. 6 and the Nyala is No. 7, both with a bow.

The hunt can be a rifle or a bow hunt. Matt described the concessions rather well, we have some that are exclusively for either bow or rifle and then some that we can hunt with either.

Anton is very modest. He is the guy to talk to for bush pigs by bow. I have not had anyone work harder to make my hunting trip successful than Anton and his family.

A lot of people will tell you their PH is the best. I can tell you I have spent a lot of time with Anton not hunting, and he is the real deal. He enjoys your hunting experience as much as you do. He is truly a guide as he shows you the way while you bring your hunting skills to South Africa and try them out on some of the toughest and most challenging animals on the planet.

I also shot a very nice bush buck that would be #11 in SCI if I entered it. I took some nice warthogs, Impalas, wildebeest, and a great waterbuck as well. We chased klipspringer all day as he has done monsters on his place. I could not close the deal on one as they are very twitchy and elusive. If we had a rifle, we could have been done in 1/2 a day. That is the bow hunting challenge.

Cheers,

AKMATT
