My name is Jim Welles. I own and operate JFW Ranch Consulting, LLC, with my wife Kelly at 10600 Eagle Rock Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87122. My office phone number is 505.294.7861. My cell number is 505-967-6562. Our e-mail address is JFWRC@comcast.net. Kelly and I have been guiding and outfitting in NM over 25 years now.

We currently have openings for two Archery elk hunters Game Management Unit 2. This unit is in northwest NM and sits below the Colorado Border. This hunt is "guided only" for 5 days and INCLUDES landowner authorizations in the price. The date of this hunt is Sept 20-24, the last 5 days of the season when the rut is in full swing and the BULLS WILL BE BUGLING. The offering DOES NOT include your NR State License at $630, meals or lodging. Bring your buddy and go archery elk hunt at this top choice timeframe. You will be guided 2x1 by one of our pros.

A good bull in this unit is 270-300. An exceptional bull will be 320-340 and yes we have seen them and one of our hunters took a 340 last year.

The cost for both (2) hunters, guided only for 5 days with a landowner tag (not including licenses, meals/lodging) is $6,250 + NM Gross Receipts tax for a total to us of $6,654.69. You can camp in the unit or stay in nearby Bloomfield at one of several motels.

I will be posting pics of Unit 2 archery bulls our clients have harvested.

Please contact me at JFWRC@comcast.net or my cell at 505-967-6562 if you have any interest.

Jim
