This management hunt is offered by Conservancy Hunting Safaris for the month of October, 2011 only. Please view the website of the outfitter @
www.chs-namibia.com.na

This is a 7 day hunt starting at Swakopmund. It will take almost a day to drive into one of the 5 conservancies available. Thus, you will get 5 full days of hunting, You will be hunting in some or all of the 5 conservancies in the Kunene region of northwestern Namibia.

The PH is Tommy Hall
The cost: U.S. $5,100
Included: 5 x springbok, 5 x oryx, 5 x Hartman's zebra. Inclusive of daily rate, PH, vehicles, trackers and skinners, all meals and accomodations in your choice of a deluxe tented camp, or one of two modest lodges, permit fees, and conservancy game fees, beer and wine. Please understand that animals taken on this hunt belong to the indigenous beneficiaries of the conservancy and are not exportable.

If you wish to take additional animals the following fees apply. springbok $120, oryx $250, zebra $300.

Exportable trophy animals may be taken at the regular trophy fee rates as follows:
Hartman's zebra $1,000
oryx 800
springbok 600
hyena 1,200
kudu 1,000

Excluded: Transportation from Windhoek to Swakopmund and return. There is a shuttle from the Windhoek airport to Swakopmund. The cost is approximately Namibian $550 each way. If you wish a private car or have the outfitter pick you up at Windhoek and return, the charge is U.S. $350 per person each way. Gratuities as one may see deserving.

Since travel time is substantial, you may opt to extend the hunt to 10 days at the daily rate of $410 for 1 x 1 or $355 for 2 x 1.

You will hunt in a vast area of 1.3 million hectares with NO fences. You may have an oppurtunitiy to see elephant, black rhino, lion, and if lucky, leopard. The springbok and oryx there are truly world class due to the limited hunting. 17" to 20" springbok and 40" oryx are common. Kudu are limited and must be available on quota.

Please contact me for available dates in October, 2011.
