Hi All,

We have space on our own estates in April & May 2018 for a week of roe stalking. This is a partially guided week where you are given a beat to hunt, advice on how to cover it and support where needed. For safety reasons you would hunt with a partner.

Arrival and departure are on a Sunday and you may hunt two outings per day for the 6 days between.

Cost is £1000 per person. We would need 4 people as a minimum to conduct the hunt and we would have a maximum of 6 hunters on the estate during the week.

There are no trophy fees and you can shoot multiple bucks.

If you would like to maximise your chances then we can arrange guided stalking for £1500/week based on 2x1 and we would limit it to 4 guys max in that case.

If you are interested in more details then please email me at Kiri@athinasporting.com or you can call me on 0044-7930536386

I am hunting for the rest of this week with limited signal but will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I receive messages.

Rgds,
Kiri

Hi

This is all on foot stalking or spot and stalk. The total area we hunt is 14,000 acres of free ranging land, although the deer are concentrated in certain areas where the habitat is most suitable.

An outing is usually first light+2/3hrs and the same at last light. You will have 6 hunting days as we will not be hunting on Sundays.

Because the ground is very open in places the best strategy is to get into a position to glass then stalk into any deer you see. There is also woodland stalking areas where you need to move slowly through a wood to find the deer and get a shot.

I would say that success will be much better on the guided option as our guys will know what they are looking for and will be familiar with the land but there is a distinct satisfaction in doing it for yourself hence my offer.

Lastly I would also suggest that getting into the second or third week of April will help ensure that bucks are all clean of velvet

Best regards,
Kiri

Kiri,

Let me speak to my group here. We might be able to fill a few spots. We'll have our own vehicles if not two.

Sure let me know. There are plenty of deer about and for sure the best results come from having a guide or sharing a guide, but self guided guys are also successful and it is a good way for us to keep the price down.

K

PDS, Most guys stay in a local hotel or B&B. They also tend to hire a car at the airport as the most cost effective way of getting about.

Accommodation tends to be on a B&B basis and we eat in the pub or restaurant in the evening and everyone pays for their own meals
