Hi All

I've been a long time forum reader at AR (used to be JasonBB) but not much of a contributor, I hope to be able to add some value to the forum going forward.

Below are a couple of packages we have on offer – there are still some dates left for later in this season i.e. mid July through end of October. 5 of each of these packages are also available for the 2013 season.

Hunting can be done by either bow or rifle. Kanana is 100 000 Acres of privately owned game farm situated in pristine Kalahari Bushveld roughly 250km SW of Maun, Botswana. I will be the PH on the hunts.

All accommodation is full board in Motswiri Lodge - our luxury tented safari camp situated in the heart of Kanana Wilderness.

The packages are:

PACKAGE 1

9 nights of Accommodation – so 8 full hunting days

1 Eland
1 Kudu
1 Blue Wildebeest
1 Red Hartebeest
1 Gemsbok (Oryx)
1 Zebra
1 Impala
1 Warthog

$ 6495

Or

PACKAGE 2

5 nights of Accommodation – so 4 full hunting days

1 Kudu
1 Zebra
1 Gemsbok (Oryx)
1 Blue Wildebeest

$3695

Observers at $100 per day - However, we are trying to facilitate an opportunity for hunters and decision makers of the future to come and experience an African Safari so if you have a son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter (under the age of 18) that you would like to bring over with you, there will be no charge for them at all for the Safari and I will add in a non-trophy Gemsbok (Oryx) and Warthog for them to hunt at no charge.

INCLUDED IN PACKAGE PRICE:
Services of a licensed Professional Hunter/s
Tracker, skinners and driver
Accommodation, meals, drinks and alcohol for duration of the safari
Transport to/from the airport in Maun
Hunting vehicle(s)
Hunting permits where required
Rifle import permits
Preparation of trophies and delivery of trophies to local taxidermist
Daily laundry
Botswana Tourism Levy
12% VAT

EXCLUDED IN PACKAGE PRICE:
Flights to and from Maun Airport, Botswana, including airport taxes
Taxidermist, packing and shipping fees of trophies
Any gratuities (obviously at clients discretion)
Accommodation expenses before & after the trophy hunting period
Sightseeing excursions/trips other than on Kanana Wilderness
Any Insurance and medical expenses of any kind
Any additional trophies at our published trophy price

Many thanks and Kind regards

Welcome Jason!

Your 8-day hunt looks very interesting to me.

What number of hunters can we expect in camp at one time? Would you book hunters at the same time as your eco-tourists?

Wow! That is very tempting for a first african safari! It would be awesome if I could add a buffalo to that over 10 days.

Dammit Jason. I'm tempted to sign on without doing any research at all! I'm sure I will do the research, though....curse, I suppose. Free range area? Not very familiar with Botswana safaris. I have a hunt in August, but very interested if I can get this same deal in 2013.

Thanks

Gentlemen, many thanks for all the enquiries on the forum and via email

We also have some bigg old Giraffe stink bulls that can be added to either of the above packages for $1500

Impala - unfortunately no buffalo or elephant at the moment, what I can do is forward you the details of Ian Gloss who is a friend of ours In Zim - I'm sure he would be able to put something together for you in the Matetsi area - we could coordinate the dates so that you hunt with him before or after Kanana

jjbull- camp is booked exclusively to one group of hunters at a time and we have no ecotourists through the area at all while we are conducting our hunts, apparently some of them don't like hunting - I have no idea why Smiler

nakihunter - same as impala above, maybe we could put something together for you with Ian and back to back the 2 hunts

Flipper Dude - The packages are available through 2013 for as long as we have dates available - send me an email and I will provide you with a list of recent references etc

Good prices and a nice area also. Will check it out. I like the idea of kids getting a cheap introduction.

Your kinda like a crack dealer! You hook them while they are young and they will always come back. tu2

welcome Kanana Safaris

I can vouch for this area , it is a great ranch in the Kalahari area close to the frontier town of Ghanzi , I have outfitted in the area many many times and taken outstanding trophies - in fact if you look up Eland Gemsbok in the SCI record books you will see the number of fine registered trophies taken in the ranch.
The rates are great value. bear in mind this is the home of africa's best trackers - the Kalahari Bushmen !!! The adventure of hunting with them is value alone.
Regards
Graeme

I have been emailing back and forth with Jason and doing a bunch of research and cannot find anything wrong or concerns not to go. Just trying to figure out the logistics on my end. I think they are the real deal.

They are in deed the real deal. I am booking for them and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. This is a super deal that will only be around for a limited time. Bookings are strong for next year but we could use to fill up a few for this season if anyone can break away.

Gentleman,

Thank you for the great response to the offered packages - next season is pretty full but there are still a couple of dates available if anyone is interested.

Apologies for the lack of comms on the forum but between the hunting this season and the inevitable challenges of Botswana Tele Communications things have been a challenge to say the least!

If any body wants me to send them some recent trail cam pics or trophy pics from recent hunts then please drop me a pm with your email address and i will forward them on. I also have a comprehensive reference list of guys that have hunted with us recently if you would like to ask them any questions.

Chat soon hopefully!!

We had a hunter and his son who hunted with Kanana this year and they had a fantastic trip. They couldn't have been more pleased with everything.
