If you don't shoot your bear, you don't have to pay anything. If you wound your bear and we will not find it, you will pay only 1500 euro.

how many feet do most of the bears taken square?

We measure from nose to tail and across the front paws generally.

A big bear has a length of about 90.55 inches but according to the rule CIC we measure just under the front legs . Approximately 59-67 inch.
A 300 CIC points bear (gold medal) has around 77 inch long and 47,24 inch width.
