Hello:

My name is Jim Welles. I own and operate JFW Ranch Consulting, LLC, 10600 Eagle Rock Ave, Albuquerque, NM 87122. Our phone number is 505.294.7861. I have been a registered outfitter in NM for 16 years.

I am offering a maximum of 5 Fully Outfitted Mule Deer Hunts on the Block Ranch in SE NM. This ranch is 36,000 deeded acres. The price of this hunt is $3,500 ea + New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax and NM Deer License of $270.I will consider a discount for 3 or more.

The preferred hunt date is November 19-23, 2011, which is best suited flat shooting rifles. However, we will consider guiding a muzzle loader hunter, scopes and sabots allowed in NM on Oct 22-26.

The terrain is easy rolling PJ hills on about 10K acres with lots of open cholla cactus rolling hills on the balance. Big bucks love to hide in the cholla and picking antlers out in cholla is hard to do at times. We hunt the later timeframe as many of the bigger bucks on the adjoining ranches move on to the Block. Much of the hunting will be done out of vehicles with lots of glassing for a spot and stalk scenario.

Lodging and meals will be provided with the hunt.

Thank you for your time. Jim

Folks have inquired as to what a good buck will be on this place. Without blowing things out of proportion, buck in the 140-160 range are considered good bucks on this ranch. Have we seen bigger, yes.

I have asked for permission to post a picture. Not sure if I need it to post just one photo but I read the rules and its seems I must have this before I can do so. At this point, I have not heard back from Saaed.

If someone wants a picture please let me know and I will e-mail you. We do have a website as well. Just google JFW Ranch Consulting and it will pop up immediatately. After reading the rules, I don't think I'm allowed to post the URL here.

Thanks, Jim Welles

Can't get a picture uploaded. Can someone out there help. There are a couple on the site...go to Rio Hondo and Block Ranch tab in the upper left hand corner of the home page.

Thanks,

Jim Welles

Please tell me what you did?? I was just about to copy and paste the URL in the post itself rather than through the photo icon on the tool bar above.

Thank you!

I just right clicked on your failed image and got the properties, copied them and then put them in the image "display image" icon slot, clicked o.k. and it worked.

Don't know what you are doing wrong?
