I just got back from this hunt a couple of weeks ago. You can see full report and photos here:

For the dates listed below, the special price is $15,500. (2019 price will be $18,750)

Also 1 leopard left for $26,500 due to cancellation

That includes:
Lodging

Day rates 1x1 for 9 hunt days

All food, drinks, lodging, daily laundry, skinners

Govt hunt license

Trophy fee for 1 buffalo

1 rifle permit

all community fees

ground transport from airport

domestic flights within Tanzania

hotel room on way in and out

Excluded:
Tanzania Visa $100

Tanzania ammunition tax approx $2/round

Tips
excess bag fees on airlines


extra trophy fees

No expensive charters, no inflated licenses, etc. There are lots of buff, the hunting should be very good at these times, and there are some great buff around.

Tim, I wish my schedule would allow me to go. I tried to work it out but watching the Crimson Tide roll has me tied up this year.

The way they look, you can miss 2 weekends in October and nothing will change. I don't think they will have a loss when you get back Cool!

Been wanting to get back to the Selous for a decade (I know, this is not quite in the Selous), but what a deal. I assume a second buffalo is available for a trophy fee? Wish like hell I could do this, but just changed law firms and canceled my October trip to Lukwati this year. Just too busy. But someone should jump on these. Would love that last one in October.

2nd buff allowed at trophy fee as long as quota is available- and I do t see that being a problem.
