Africa options/openings in late June...

I’ve been looking at a few Africa options for a hunt the last half of June 2013. I finally have a job that allows me to plan more than a few weeks in advance and want to take advantage of it. My father might join me, most likely in an observer role…though he tried that on an antelope hunt in Wyoming and soon wished he’d put in for his tag. If he could take an impala while there, he’d likely take advantage of the opportunity.

I’m considering a 7-day Buff hunt in Zambia w/possible Zebra on the side, a Buff and/or PG hunt in South Africa, or a PG hunt in Namibia. PG would have to include Zebra, perhaps Nyala, and one or two other antelope.

What sort of options are available in late June? Anything I choose, where I might have my father join me, would have to be comfortable, with good food/wine, and serious campfire time.

I’ll also be posting similarly in the Aussie/NZ forums as well as S. America.

You could contact Mark Young in this forum, I know Terry Anders has a couple of buff left in Zim and Mark could hook you up. I have a friend i SA that has some buff as well as all of the other stuff you mentioned, about 2 hour drive from jbrg. It is behind the wire if that matters. If you want info PM me.

Damn I would love to do this. However I cannot commit at the moment. In Zambia there are few who can offer this package today due to the current ban. However send a message to AR's DVS and he might have such an opportunity in the Luangwa Valley. If he does then I suggest you take it.
