I have a Leopard at Munyamadzi Game reserve in Zambia. I am making some pretty incredible 2x1 hunts with Leopard and Buffalo, or Hippo or Roan included. This is not a split quota hunt, as we have many duplicate animals that each hunter can take, like Kudu, Bushbuck, Hyena, Puku and Impala. There is sufficient quota to have one of most other plainsgame animals (except Roan) to split between the two hunters.

These are all 2x1 hunts
TOTAL day rate is $24,500
NOT PER PERSON, THIS IS THE TOTAL!

Two hunters split the main key animals (For example, one hunts Leopard and PG the other hunts Buffalo Hippo and PG) Each hunter can also hunt the other plainsgame animals available, depending on quota.

It can be structured as any of the following:
14-Day Leopard, Hippo Buffalo and Plainsgame
14-Day Leopard, Hippo, Croc and Plainsgame
14-Day Leopard, Hippo Roan and Plainsgame


Please note that as more hunts sell, some quota will unavailable. You will know when booking what animals you have on quota to hunt. It will be in the contract, there will be no confusion on this matter.

The two hunters can split the day rate as they see fit, or this could be a great father son hunt.

I was under the impression that this was sold? Whatever great deal.

I see the trophy fee for lion is $15,000. Is this the same as the government trophy fee? Or does the game reserve add a bit (which I can totally understand!). The reason I ask is that I've seen a different trophy fee from a different operator in the Luangwa, but in a government concession.

How many lions will operators in Government Areas be given?

As indicated last year all cat quotas are very precautionary. And I am led to believe that stringent rules and regulations apply. Best you contact the relevant authorities for clarification.
