In '09 I did a 17 day safari with Bahati Safaris on Coutada 10 located on the Zambezi Delta in Mozambique. I did some hunting but I also got to look over a big piece of the delta including Coutada 11 and 12 while I was there. Mark Haldane's Zambeze Delta Safaris hunts Coutada 11 and 12 that comprises about 3,000 sq mi of diverse habitat with excellent game numbers. Mark's area has the highest game count of any area in Mozambique as per a WWF survey. He also has the most free range nyala per sq mi of any area in Africa. The Marromenu complex that he hunts has over 12,000 buffalo and I personally saw 25-100 sable each day in '09. It also could be the best opprtunity in Africa to take 4 of the litte guys on one safari. The duikers and suni are extraordinarily abundant and you should take all quite easily. The delta really is a wildlife paradise and offers a unique safari experience.

Yes! Although Mark Haldane says the hunting will be the best of the year. Earlier wet conditions can cause difficulty accessing some of the hunting but in Oct/Nov it should be easy to get around.
