Many of you have asked me to post these hunts as they become available.

I just talked with the rancher I guide for. He told me several nice blackbucks have moved onto the ranches in areas that aren't being hunted for whitetail. We will be able to do two hunts!! If you have been waiting to go on one of these hunts, now is the time. It is all but impossible to find a free-range blackbuck hunt.

The hunts will be Saturday, November 24th and December 1st in Camp Wood, Texas (nearest airport San Antonio). I can take one hunter on each one. The cost is just $1000 (a $200 daily rate and an $800 trophy fee). This is a totally free-range hunt on a working ranch. The trophy fee is payable only if you get a blackbuck

I have guided 20 of these to date.

You may also take blackbuck does after we get your buck down for $100 each!

Can you arrange a similar hunt for the week between Christmas and New Years?

Possibly, but I won't know until after I do the first hunt and get a good handle on how many shooters have moved onto the ranch.

Can you take two hunters on December 1st?
I would like to go with my son.

I can take two on December 1st but the odds of the 2nd hunter taking a buck are totally dependent on how long it takes to get #1's animal down. These hunts can be over quickly if we are lucky or can go right up to sundown which is why I prefer one hunter. I have done hunts with two hunters and both have gotten blakbucks, but we were lucky and got one early leaving the rest of the day for the second hunter.
