Many moons ago I designed an AR group hunt that concentrated on the hunting of the Kafue Flats Lechwe. The largest and most impressive of all Lechwes.



It was a resounding success and a very enjoyable safari all round. It is my thinking to do it all again and split it with a hunt in the noted Lunga Luswish concession of which the AR 2019 Group hunt was hosted.

The PH pool will be the noted Richard Bell Cross and me. The hunt is hoped to attract a minimum of 4 participants who will hunt the Flats and the Lunga Luswishi concession. Observers welcome. We now have an ARGO an amphibious vehicle to help those who are less active than they use to be.

Pricing is as follows:

3 days Kafue Lechwe
5 days Lunga Luswishi hunting and fishing

Per each hunter:

8 days @ $400 day
Concession fee $500
Dip & Pack, transfers, firearm handling $1,600
Observers @ $200 day inclusive of transfers

Duiker, blue $1050

wow what a deal and a chance to take 2 different lechwe. I hope there is something like this around in 2021. already booked for 2020. What kind of zebra is in that area

Burchell's pure black and white stripes. No shadows.

ok I thought there was a different breed and name for the zebras in Zambia. If any what animals could be bow hunted in the areas.

What kind of Reedbuck and Bushbuck?

I’m sure that Andrew will correct me if I’m wrong. For the most part they are Chobe Bushbuck and common Reedbuck.

Looking this over it is a great opportunity to visit Zambia.

Pictures from last year show sable and hippo. Is this something that may be added?

However they are not listed for this year. I am sure that this is a change in formatting a group hunt.

Priority Kafue Lechwe. Maybe others species such as Sable or Hippo but I won't know till later.

If we had a Sable it would be a higher trophy fee.

Indeed and the possibility to hunt 3 different and diverse areas.

We have a couple of chaps interested and need a couple more to make this happen.
