No Leopard no pay. STILL AVAILABLE.
Richard Bell Cross has offered me the opportunity to hunt one of his two Leopards on quota this year on a no take no pay basis. Depending on the dates it will be either Rich or I or both guiding in the vast 2.5 million acre unfenced Lunga Luswishi concession of Zambia. Thing is Richard had two brutes that fed on baits for the duration of his last Lion safari and is therefore extremely confident in securing one of these. So much so that if you do not shoot one of these cats then there will be no daily rate and you pay for the concession fees and other animals taken only. Sable is available as so is Hippo and Croc.

The above images are of the two giant cats that I last took off my concession across the river from Lunga Luswishi. The latter taken a couple of weeks back.

Area - Lunga Luswishi
Operator - Prohunt Zambia
PH - Andrew Baldry or Richard Bell Cross or both
Duration 14 days before end of November.

Costs:

Concession fee = $10,000
Daily rates inclusive of trophy fee for Leopard = $22,000
Dip & pack = $2,000
Return vehicle transfers = $1,500

Trophy fees:

SABLE $ 6,500
HIPPO $3,000
CROC $2,500
KUDU $2,500
HARTEBEEST $ 2,000
D. WATERBUCK $2,000
PUKU $ 1,000
HYENA $ 1,000
BUSHBUCK $ 750
BUSH PIG $ 750
WARTHOG $ 500
IMPALA $ 250
ZEBRA $1,500

This deal is for those who want a seriously big cat and no bullshit.

Want to split the hunt with another? No worries and we can make a plan.

So if you get a leopard it's close to $35,000?
$10,000 if you don't shoot one.
Thanks

I picked up on that, too. "No leopard, no pay" is not exactly truth in advertising.
The title should read "No leopard, pay $11,500."
(concesion fee and airport fee). With one leopard and no plains game, $34,500.

Cal stop nit picking this is a mandatory Government fee. What we are saying is that we do not get paid if you do not shoot a big cat. Indeed when you cash in it will be pricey but you pay for what you get and Zambia is currently Africa's prime hunting destination. Ask Steve416 who just took the Leopard in the second photo. He was in the blind for all of an hour. This is one of Zambia's top concessions and Richard is in the very epicentre of the best PHs in Africa. The Leopard you take will be a trophy cat and not on of those you have to sit 10 yards behind.

Not only that but we have indicated that this hunt can be shared and the concession is then halved. I will cover the transfer fee and tips if you don't get your cat. Push me further and I might pay for your airfare.

Indeed and consider this a two tier price.

For example ARs Darin did not shoot a Lion with me and did not pay the hefty daily rates and trophy fee.

It is called putting your money where your mouth is.

Cheers

All those animals included in the concession fee.

That's a great deal.

I think you pay the trophy fee for each animal plus the concession fees.Confusing the first post says pay for other animals, then later post says no charge for sable. Must be an error.
Nothing's free there!!
Have a great hunt.

That's the way I read it. $10,000 just to be there , and Trophy fees added.....

This is a beautiful area with some very big leopards. Richard and Andrew are first class PHs and fun to hunt with. No question, the deal offered is a good one.

Here's a leopard from my time as a client at Lunga Luswishi. As an appy, I helped guide a client to one of similar size the very next year.

I definitely got my money's worth with this type of pricing even without a lion. Andrew's leopard offer is even better. I did pay plains game daily rates and trophy fees for my safari, but considering it was 21 days and 2 buffalo, plus sable, hartebeest, zebra and reedbuck... it was sure a lot better deal than last year when I paid lion daily rate and would have paid small trophy fee if I took a lion!!!

Best regards, D. Nelson

+1

I really like this pricing model. There has to be skin in the game and there is plenty by the ph/outfitter in this one.

Darin you and Lion are opposing magnets. If there was ever a guarantee it would have been a Lion at Royal Kafue!

But like you said you get to hunt all those amazing animals at PG rates and on a Champagne safari.

Someone got a great deal!

But Andrew, given Fulvio's comment, and Russian clients, I think most outfitters should consider adding to the categories of what is not included: "interpreters"

I know two people that have been on eight failed Leopard hunts before they got their cat.

Andrew's hunt is much less expensive! I never heard of a guarantee Leopard Hunt. Talk about pressure on an Outfitter.

I would be hanging baits nonstop.

Thanks! It was a big cat, but no eight footer: 7'8" from nose to tip of the tail, with a 16 1/2" skull.

In the same area back in 2004, Richard Bell-Cross guided a client to one that was over 8 feet, with a 17+ inch skull. It was and still is the Zambian record.
