Johnny duPlooy/Muchinga Adventures has a leopard available for 2022 in the Chanjusi GMA on the Luangwa river in Zambia and he will PH it. Chanjusi was previously his and he knows it like the back of his hand. You will have an opportunity at a great cat on this one as well as buffalo, hippo, crocodile and PG.

Chanjusi as most of the Luangwa GMAs is great for cats. You'll shoot a hippo day 1 giving you 8 big baits. There's a good chance that will be all the bait you'll need. You'll have multiple cats feeding and it would be normal to have the cat in the salt in the first week or so. Hunting is hunting and there are no guarantees but this is how it usually happens. I've never had a client fail on cats anywhere on the Luangwa. One was wounded and lost but nobody has not had a good opportunity or multiple opportunities.

These leopards on the Luangwa were never persecuted as vermin like the cats in some other countries and they don't act like the leopards you see on the TV shows.These cats will readily come to bait in daylight which is the only legal way to hunt them in Zambia.

The daylight hunt is also much easier on the hunter and crew as your not sitting in the blind trying to be quiet in the dark or camped out nearby the bait. You'll sleep in a real bed every night and be fresh for the next day. The sit will only be a couple hours in the early AM and the same in PM before dark. Easy!

1X1 14 DAYS $34,300 to include day fees, concession fee, Licensure/gun permit, dip/pack and Lusaka accommodations at duPlooy's guesthouse as necessary. Muchinga does there own dip/pack for US clients and you'll get your trophies in the early part of the year following your hunt.

I was on the Luangwa two weeks ago, trying to bait for hyena. We couldn't get hyenas to come in for the lions and leopard that were feeding on the bait.
