Spoke to John Jackson of Conservation Force in this regard, he contacted USFW but was non the wiser for it.
John suggested that, should I get a booking, to let the client apply for a CITES Import Permit from USFW first, if this is granted, only then should the client book. Hope this helps.

Tanzania is very difficult to operate in. It is in Africa and all - very tough location.

Yeah,

Flight cost from Lusaka to Mfuwe?

Total round trip cost Lusaka/Mfuwe/Waka Waka/Mfuwe/Lusaka?

Any reason why Waka Waka cannot be accessed directly from Lusaka?

Just curious coffee

Hi fujotupu
Flights Lusaka-Mfuwe-Lusaka between $400-$500.
This is with Proflight, local commercial airline.

Return Flight Mfuwe - WakaWaka - Mfuwe $2000.
Gives you a total of $2,500.

Charter from Lusaka - WakaWaka - Lusaka $4,800.

So,yes, Waka Waka is accessible from Lusaka at almost double!

A great saving for my clients. clap

$2500 in charter fees in TZ will get you at least 50 miles out of Dar- 1 way. but, of course, it is a lot more expensive to run a bush flight service in Tz than anywhere else in Africa- rotflmo good luck on the new venture, Sylvia!!

You are absolutely correct jdollar.
We did a couple of safaris there last year, as Zambia GMA's were closed, & the Charter cost is almost as much as the Daily Rate....... Roll Eyes
