Mokore Safaris has the huge Coutada 9 in Mozambique that offers the best unfenced PG hunting I've ever seen in Southern Africa plus it is a very wild area. Actually I hunted there 10 years ago and it is much better now with greater numbers of animals and increasing trophy quality. Trophy quality is excellent for all the spiral horns and specialty animals like Lichenstein's hartebeest, sable, nyala, suni, red duiker are available also. More common game like impala, common reedbuck, oribi, Sharpe's grysbok and huge warthog should be encountered everyday.

Buffalo are there on Coutada 9 but in limited numbers. There are however loads of buffalo in Coutada 14 a half day's drive from Coutada 9 where Mokore has made arrangements to hunt them. This area is not hunted by Argo or track vehicle. The hunting will be on foot but in reality you still should have your buffalo in 3-4 days allowing plenty of time to hunt the abundant PG on Coutada 9. You will also get to see two completely different environments on this hunt and to me that has good value in itself.

Hunts are available Mid August onward with Sept/Oct being ideal for PG and the buffalo.
