Hello Guys,

we have a leopard tag available for 2022. The property is in the Erongo Mountains and a large very scenic area with no game fencing.

In addition to the leopard you can hunt a variety of species. In particular intersting are DikDik, Mt Zebra, bown hyena and Klippspringer. You should have no problems to find these species while hunting leopard.

This is a baited hunt. Zebra is used as bait and the hunter has to take a Zebra for bait (5baits).

The overall sucessrate for leopard is somewhere between 80-90%. Only males are taken.

Date: June or July would be ideal.

14days at $550/day (1:1) = $7,700

Leopard trophy fee: $8,750

Trophy fees (in $):
Kudu 1400
Oryx 650

The photo of the leopard at the base of the tree is spectacular!

Is all hunting for cats at night or any daylight opportunity?

The area generally gets one permit. In some years an addional permit is issued. It's 30000acres.

I took a cat in this general area a few years ago. We had four different cats hitting the bait!

It's illegal to hunt at night in Namibia.

Who is the PH? Namibia has some very good cat-men.

Overall Namibia is it lacking cat numbers. It's just hard to get them sometimes.

Very fair with the $550 day rate.

With some of the Namibia hunts, I feel like it's more about getting someone to pay $1000 a day to hunt PG and, who knows, maybe you'll get a leopard on bait.

As Andrew Baldry says "putting your money where your mouth is."

What do you mean?
The leopard was shot last light and didn't go far. It was retrieved during the night. Chet did hold him up that for another picture that's why he has blood on his shirt, if that's what you meant.
