2010 Lion Safari with Martin Pieters Safaris

I have just this morning received this message from Martin Pieters Safaris in Zimbabwe.

This safari will take place in the Omay safari area. The Omay borders Matusadona National Park along Lake Kariba. If you are interested in the safari below do not hesitate to contact us.

"Do you have any lion hunters that can move pretty fast, 3 big cats have just come into the area from the park and have taken up residence along the park boundary, it is no guarantee, as they move the whole time, this is what I can offer:

15 day lion/ buffalo/ hippo/ plains game @ $ 800/ day (2010 late season rates only )


Dates 1st Nov through 8th Dec 2010

1 x lion $ 10 000
1 x hippo $ 4000
1st buffalo bull $ 2750
2nd buffalo bull $ 4000
Plains game as per list
Extras

2 % tax on daily rates
2 % tax on trophy fees
Dip/ pack $ 650
Charters if required

· Please note that in the Omay, it IS LEGAL to shoot at night, call lion and bait."

This safari is normally 18 days at $1100.00 per day

So obviously this has been sorted out.

Shooting at night has always been legal on commual land and private land

this is a good deal and I have seen several big lion just inside the parks boundary
