Don't know whether this is OK or not according to the forum rules, but I am looking for an elephant hunt early next year. January? Anything going?

Peter,

If quota would allow it would be possible to hunt elephant in Masailand in January. In Southern African coutries were ivory can be imported into the States I think hunting is either closed at that time or not viable because of weather. I think you could book an ele in Zim but it would likely be a very wet and difficult hunt.

Peter, if you can come the first 2 weeks of February, I can help you. (Our season only opens 1 February, and that's the only dates in February that I have open.)
If you have to come in January, Zim would be your best bet, as Mark has said, but be prepared for lots of winching due to mud...

Hi Peter

We would happily do a Jan ele bull hunt. Both myself and Milo will be in the States but our other pHs would love the early days.

It would be in Dande East. I have just come out of there now and there are some nice bulls running around so Jan will be good. Its mainly sandy area so you will be wet but able to get around!! Drop me an email and I will give you details buzz@cmsafaris.com

Cheers Buzz
