I still have a few Buffalo & Roan packages available for next season in Benin.

Season runs from December 2017 to May 2018.



You need to fly into Cotonou where you will be picked up. You will drive to camp the next day. This will take 8-9hours by road.

Buffalo package incl 1 Buffalo and day rate for 7days for 7000€

On a 7day hunt you are allowed to take 1 x Buffalo , 1 Roan and plains game depending on available quota.

This is not an easy hunt and a decent physical fitness is required.


Trophy fees (in Euros):

Roan 1000
Western Hartebeest 800
Nagor Reedbuck 600
Waterbuck 1000
Harnessed Bushbuck 800
Warthog 400
Duiker (common) 250
Red-flanked Duiker 250
Oribi 250
Baboon 150


Package includes:

Meet at airport and transfer to hotel
Transfer (by road)
Camp staff
Vehicle, Guide and tracker
Laundry service
Accommodation


Not included:

Flights
Hotel in Contonou before and after hunt (around 50-150 euros per night)
Visa
Gun permit - 150Euro/rifle
Dip&Pack
Trophy export
Gratuities


50% of daily rate is required to book the hunt.

Buffalo hunting is very good indeed and the trophy quality is the best in West Africa.

The local operator needs to jack up his vehicles and accomodation. It takes two hours to drive to the hunting area and as Dennis said you need to be fit and energetic.

i and a friend are interested for 2018 but your rates are a lot higher than the european outfitters who are about 3500 E. i am interested in 2 buff, no additional animals. quote?

Could you give me your email?
Please be aware that this includes all the licenses.
If the offer from someone else for the same hunt is 3500€, then I can't compete with that. Only the permits and the transport would make that price impossible.
